Love by the Lake: Live Painting at Sandy Creek Farms

Stepping into Allison and Stefan’s wedding at Sandy Creek Farms felt like entering a dream. Set on 430 acres of Tennessee countryside, this magical venue welcomed guests across an expansive bridge to “The Island”—a private lakeside sanctuary made for saying “I do” beneath the open sky.

The plan? To paint the couple at the altar as they exchanged vows, while also honoring the beauty of the setting around them.

To get there, I was whisked (easel and all) down to the lake by golf cart. Thanks to the incredible coordination team, it was smooth, on time, and stress-free. That kind of support makes all the difference when you’re working live and every second counts.
